Baxton Dog Training Academy begun in the year 2011 as a humble institute to home rescued dogs. Through our consistent efforts working with rescued dogs, it has over the years grown to be one of the best dog training school in Kenya.
We have helped dogs, otherwise meant to be put down due to behavioral issues, reform and live happily with their owners. We are also dedicated to giving knowledge and skills to those who wish to be dog trainers.

Our Story
Baxton Dog Training Academy began in 2011 as an institute for homing and rehabilitating rescued dogs. Through our consistent efforts working with rescued dogs, it has grown to be one of the best dog training schools in Kenya.
Headed by our lead trainer, James Michuki, an experienced dog behaviorist with over 12 years of experience working with pets and working dogs, Baxton Dog Training Academy has transformed dogs meant to be put down due to behavioral issues and enabled them to live happily with their owners.
The knowledge and skills he has gained while working as a dog handler have enabled him to rectify and prevent behavioral problems in pets and dogs. Through his mentorship, young people have also been able to jumpstart their careers in the dog training industry
